So I was shopping at a garage sale a few weeks ago and came across the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix game. It was not in its original case, just a plain jewel case, however it looked unscratched so I bought it. When I took it home, excited to play, it asked me for the serial number. Obviously, without the main case or manual, I can’t find the serial code. Is there some way to find it with just the disc?

We have to leave the house at 7am, which is way before our post arrives, so we’ve cancelled our original order. So my question is do you think the book will be available at the airport at about 9am? There is a WHSmith’s there, which usually stock new releases. Please help, because this is unnaturally important to us! My sister and I are desperate to read it, and an 8 hour transatlantic flight would be an ideal time to do it rather than when we’ve actually arrived.

I have heard lots of people say they don’t want their kids reading Harry Potter and they think that Harry Potter should be on the Ban book list. But why? If you think that Harry Potter is just brainwashing kids that witches and wizards exist, then shouldn’t we analyze everything we are letting them watch? Disney movies always have that magical touch such as flying carpets, fairy godmothers, talking statues, enchanted mice, poisoned apples, but our kids know not to believe this so what makes Harry Potter any different?

And another thing, Harry Potter is directed for older teenagers and adults and for kids in first and second grade to read these books and understand them, shouldn’t they praised for mastering a level of reading that is far beyond their level?
